THE OPENING WEEKEND OF THE PILLOWMAN HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE WEATHER!

The Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows for the opening weekend (Feb 11-13) are canceled.

An additional showtime will be added to the original schedule on Wednesday Feb. 17.  Regularly schedule times for “The Pillowman” are 8 p. m. for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances Feb. 18-20, with a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee on Feb. 21.

The action of this play involves a writer in a totalitarian state who is being interrogated by two policemen regarding his involvement in the murders of several local children.  The circumstances of the murders mirror details from a few of his short stories, one of which was never published.  The writer has a brother who was affected by abuse as a child, leaving him with the mental capacity of an eight-year-old. Both the writer and his brother struggle to understand why the events are happening and if it will be possible to avoid execution for these crimes.

Due to violence, language, and mature themes, this show is not suitable for all audiences.
