COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Sept. 1

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., Aug. 27, 2021 — The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department will sponsor a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on campus, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. The clinic will be held in the Boyle Center, located in the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC).

All unvaccinated individuals are encouraged to attend and get vaccinated. As an added incentive, free “Not Today COVID-19” T-shirts will be given to the first 200 individuals attending the clinic.
 
Though the clinic is FREE, a picture ID is required and Individuals will be required to wait in the ASRC for 15 minutes following their injection for observation. Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available. The FDA approved the Pfizer vaccine earlier this week. 
 
Individuals already having their first vaccination can receive their second dose, if they bring their vaccination card.  No booster shots will be given.
 
If you are not vaccinated, please attend as we work to continue to keep our campus safe!
 
Vaccination is considered the best defense possible against the COVID-19 virus that has affected the world for more than a year.
 
As a reminder, any student not fully vaccinated (two weeks following final dose), will be required to attend monthly COVID-19 surveillance testing, beginning Sept. 7.  More details will follow on the surveillance testing soon.
 
Please continue to wear face masks inside buildings, social distance and practice good hand sanitation. We are grateful for your adherence to our pandemic safety rules.
