WEST LIBERTY, W.Va., Aug. 6, 2021 — Early this morning, the West Liberty University campus community received an important safety update from our President W. Franklin Evans. The most important thing that this Memorandum requests is that campus return to its former mask mandate (prior to July 12). The mask wearing mandate begins again on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021 and continues indefinitely.
As always, WLU encourages everyone to get vaccinated and Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department is holding a vaccination clinic on campus from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1 for those still needing to be vaccinated. More updates will follow as circumstances change, so please stay alert to your emails.
