The Ohio County Health Department has issued a ‘Boil Water Notice’ in the West Liberty Area.
A 12″ water main broke due to weather conditions on Route 88 adjacent to the campus of West Liberty University, effected areas in West Liberty are from Faculty Drive to Harvey Road, as well as West Liberty University.
Conditions indicate that there is a high probability that water in this area could be contaminated. Testing has not occurred to confirm or deny the presence of contamination in your water.
Do not drink the water without boiling it first. Notification will be sent when the boil water notice is lifted.
