Share

The West Liberty University Alumni Association Board of Directors instituted a project in 1990 to showcase our very successful graduates of the University.  This project is named the “Alumni Wall of Honor.” It is a dramatic way to honor some of the University’s most distinguished alumni. It eloquently displays the pride we hold in the accomplishments of our graduates.

The concept was suggested by Robert W. Schramm, ‘58, former Associate Professor of Physics, former West Liberty  Board of Directors member, former college photographer and college archivist. The Alumni Wall of Honor is housed in the south end of the College Union in the Alumni Wall of Honor Conference Room and Lounge. To date, photographs and identifying nameplates of over 50 distinguished grads are displayed on the wall.

Each nominee must be a degree bearing graduate of West Liberty University, formerly known as West Liberty State College.
