West Liberty University will welcome two newly appointed members to the Board of Governors at its Aug. 17 meeting. Acting Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has named George Couch of Wheeling and Dr. E. Robert Marks of Wellsburg to WLU’s governing body.
Couch is president and chief executive officer of Ohio Valley Health Services and Education Corp. in Wheeling. His term will end June 30, 2013.
Dr. Marks was appointed to fill the unexpired term of James Stultz, who resigned, and will serve through June 30, 2012. He is in private medical practice in Wellsburg and serves as the director of Wheeling Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program.
