World Premiere Performance (Fall 2014)

The WLU Percussion Ensemble commissioned Jamie Wind Whitmarsh to compose a new work for steel pan and percussion ensemble in the fall of 2014. Members of the WLUPE premiered the new piece, Chromatic Aberration on November 13th. Click the link below to listen to a live recording from the concert. Recording Sessions

Members of the WLU Percussion Ensemble recording John Cage’s Trio for Percussion. Dr. Matthew Harder (pictured) was the engineer for this project. Dr. Harder is on faculty as the Director of the music technology major and teaches recording and composition classes.
