Evan is currently an instructor at West Liberty University in West Virginia and has performed with the Wheeling and Youngstown Symphonies as well as other groups in the Wheeling/Pittsburgh area. Prior to moving to Wheeling, he served as principal trombone of the Orquesta Filarmonica de Queretaro in Queretaro, Mexico.
Evan has played with the Macon Symphony Orchestra, the Columbus, GA Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut Grand Opera, DiCapo Opera, Riverside Orchestra, principal trombone of AIMS music festival in Graz, Austria, principal trombone of the Westchester chamber orchestra, the Gregg Smith Singers, Decasia live, and New Rochelle Opera. He was also featured soloist at the New York Brass Conference. Recordings include various works with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Queretaro, Mahler Symphony no. 3 with the Manhattan School of Music Orchestra, “Mass for Mass Trombones” by Wendy Chambers, the soundtrack to the PBS television show “Dora the Explorer,” and Albert Hammond Jr.
