All members of the WLU Wind Ensemble must audition for acceptance and placement. Participation in the audition process will count as part of the final grade for music majors. Auditions will take place during the first week of classes.
PDF files are ready for you to download and print. Except for Low Brass and Percussion, all excerpts are from “El Salon Mexico” by Aaron Copland. Low Brass excerpts are from “Slava!” by Leonard Bernstein. There are a number of very fine recordings of these works if you would like a reference.
