The Chris Barrick Group will perform live at Oglebay’s Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, WV on Saturday, October 13th, 2012 starting at 8pm. The concert is part of Oglebay’s “Jazz at the Stifel” series.
Founder and saxophonist Dr. Christopher Barrick is assistant professor of music at West Liberty. The group, founded in 2010, consists of Barrick on saxophone, bassist Paul Thompson, drummer Rick Parsons, and guitarist Scott Elliott. Mr. Elliott is adjunct professor of Guitar at West Liberty and Rick Parsons once taught Percussion at West Liberty. Since its inception in 2010, the group has performed at the Wheeling Arts Festival and the Wheeling Wine and Jazz Festival.
