West Liberty’s Public Relations major is designed to prepare students for careers in the very broad field of public relations. The curriculum is designed to educate students in theory and research, develop students’ writing, decision-making and strategic thinking abilities. Public Relations professionals fulfill organizational management functions – whether it be for the corporate, government or non-profit sector.

Public Relations Program Requirements
1. Public Relations majors must complete a minor of at least 15 hours.
2. All students must meet COM requirements of an overall GPA of 2.5 and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 to take upper level courses.
3. A minimum of 40 upper-level courses must successfully be completed.
