Aaron Anslow

Aaron Anslow was first introduced to clay at Bethany College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art in 2006. While at Bethany, Aaron studied art and architecture at Regents College in London, England. He also served as a Sergeant in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2005.
After graduating from Bethany College he furthered his education by earning a Masters of Fine Arts in Ceramics from West Virginia University in 2011. During his time at WVU he focused on both functional and nonfunctional ceramics, worked in the production studio, and studied ceramics in Jingdezhen, China.
For the past eight years, he has taught in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Bethany College specializing in three-dimensional art. Throughout Aaron’s career he has shown work internationally in China, nationally in the Strictly Functional juried exhibition, and in Clay Times Magazine. In addition to teaching Aaron works as an AP reader for the College Board and owns and operates Earthsmith studio located in Bethany, West Virginia.
