AIGA Student Chapter

West Liberty has a very active student chapter of the AIGA – the American Institute for Graphic Arts. This is the leading design organization in America. Our group is affiliated with the Pittsburgh AIGA and frequently takes field trips to Pittsburgh to visit design studios, exhibitions, movies, and social activities.

“Founded in 1914 as the American Institute of Graphic Arts, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design and is now known simply as AIGA, the professional association for design.”-www.aiga.org
The West Liberty University AIGA is a student chapter of the Pittsburgh, PA national chapter. As a student member you have access to a multitude of networks and events.

From freshmen to seniors, any and all Graphic Design, Digital Media, Art Education and Art Therapy majors and minors are encouraged to join.
