BA/BS to BSN Nursing Degree

BSN Nursing Degree West Virginia - Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing WV This is an accelerated BSN program for those who already have a bachelor of art or a bachelor of science degree and want to become a nurse.  Often adults graduate from college, begin a career, and then decide that they want to make a career change and become a nurse.  This program was designed for those who have met prerequisite courses and want to devote the next year and a half to full-time, intense study.

The program begins in the Fall semester (late August) and runs for sixteen months (four semesters, including summer.)  The program includes courses on campus, clinical time in the simulation and skills labs, and clinical practice in area hospitals and health care agencies.

BA/BS to BSN Entrance Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Overall grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4 point system
