To Whom It May Concern:  The Division of Dentistry at the U. of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA is currently recruiting Dental Hygienists, full and part time, to staff our clinics that are associated with our General Practice Dental Residency program.  We have 2 such clinics, one at 1222 Jefferson Park Ave, and another at the Children’s Medical Center.  Both are in buildings next to each other.  The JPA clinic is all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric, but the CMC clinic is primarily children and adolescent patients with some degree of behavioral, physical, or medical handicap.  As a GPR program, we treat patients of all socioeconomic groups, some of which are just seeking routine dental care, others referred to us by Physicians and Clinics associated with the UVA Medical Center. The latter are provided medically necessary dental care in order to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with their medical disease state and  therapy provided by their physicians/clinics to treat those diseases.

It is a diverse program and patient care experience!  I am casting a wide net on the chance that a Hygienist, either current student or recent graduate, might be considering a relocation to the Central Virginia area. Charlottesville itself is a great place to live, and it would be easy to  research it and the surrounding Albemarle County to learn more about life here.

 Our office is looking for a full time hygienist after 50 years!  It is for Dr. Charles Frye.  We are located in Allison Park PA on Route 8.  Easy access to route 28 and the turnpike.  Our hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm.  Patients have 1 hour appointments with the last one at 4 and there is a 1 hour lunch period.  Our current hygienist comes in early to get her charts prepared so there should be no problem getting at least 36 hours a week.
