Miwa Eugenia Shimizu Orozco and Thomas Brian Cline were united in marriage Sept. 24, 2016 at Warwood United Methodist Church, Wheeling. Pastor Bart Thompson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marcelino Shimizu of Toluca, Mexico.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Daryl Cline of Wheeling.
Matsuko Shimizu Orozco, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. David Carenbauer served as best man.
Other attendants were Alejandra Garcia, Sarah Milbert, William Daniel and Masami Shimizu Orozco.
A reception was held at the White Palace ballroom, Wheeling Park.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Instituto Mexico de Toluca and a 2009 cum laude graduate of ITESM Campus Toluca with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as a master scheduler in GE Grid Solutions, Charleroi, Pa.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He is employed as a quality manager for Tecnocap LLC in Glen Dale.
The couple took a wedding trip to Italy, touring Florence, Pisa, Rome and Venice. They reside in Wheeling.
