Proclamation from the city of Euclid for hirer contributions to the City of Euclid Adult Women’s Softball. After playing many years in the recreation women’s league, she organized the Vintage Players in 2005. The Vintage Players is open to women 45 years of age and older. The first year there were 24 ladies playing, in 2016 there are 108 ladies playing. Many of these ladies also participate in various senior women’ s softball tournaments throughout the year. Players are looking forward to participating in the 2017 National Senior Games in Birmingham, AL. Fischlin has also been honored by the Benjamin Rose foundation – selected as a ‘Mythbuster’ in 2013, proving a person can be active at any age. In 2014, she was inducted into the Ohio Senior Olympic Hall of Fame for her contributions as a player and promoter of the Senior Games.
