McAlpine, James “Jamie” Stephen, 46, of Wheeling, WV., died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV surrounded by his family.
Jamie was born July 22, 1968 in Wheeling, WV., the son of Shelby J. Covey McAlpine of Wheeling, WV., and the late James A. McAlpine (2007), and was a Baptist by faith.
Jamie was an Artist and musician. He graduated from Wheeling Park High School in 1986 and West Liberty University with a degree in graphic design. He loved music, was in the Jazz band at Wheeling Park High School and played in the steel drum band at West Liberty University. He had his own band known as the Altered States.
Jamie will be missed by family and friends. He had the kindest heart and was easy going. He never said an unkind word and was always willing and ready to help family and friends. He will be forever missed by everyone that knew him.
