I am currently employed with the Office of the Inspector General, Dept. of Defense, and graduated in May 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Policy Management from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute. An excerpt from my Capstone paper regarding the Department of Defense’s ability to achieve audit readiness was published in the Fall/Winter 2012/2013 issue of the Journal of Public Inquiry, a publication from the federal Inspector General community that is also read by members of Congress and other stakeholders. I am also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in West Virginia and Virginia, a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), a Certified Defense Financial Auditor (CDFA, Level III), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
