Scott Reager will begin his duties as the new Marshall County Chamber of Commerce executive director on Monday.
Reager was born and raised in Moundsville. He now resides with his wife, Jodi, and two children Marshall and Maria in Glen Dale. He is a graduate of John Marshall High School, and received his B.S. in business administration with specialization in management from West Liberty University. His background includes working as a realtor, tax preparer and manager in retail business. He has owned and operated his own businesses in Moundsville and St. Clairsville as being an insurance and financial services representative. After selling his agency a few years ago, he has been in human resources as a recruiting and training specialist for entrepreneurs that were looking to getting into the insurance and financial services profession and wanting to open their own agencies in West Virginia and surrounding areas.
Reager is taking over for David Knuth, who has held the position for 18 years.
