2000 West Liberty graduate Lee Gruber has become St. Michael Parish School principal. Lee graduated from WL with a Bachelor of Science degree in business adminstration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in education in preparation for earning his master’s degree in educational adminstration and supervision. Gruber is implementing some changes with his new leadership role, in particular the introduction of Apple iPads into the curriculum. 68 students in seventh and eighth graders will be able to use the iPads in the classroom for personal use. Additionally 65 students in fifth and sixth grade will have access to iPads through classroom iPad banks where 30 will be shared.
