Edward Frederick John “Ted” Tucker passed Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home in Wheeling, WV. Ted was valedictorian of the 1965 West Liberty State College graduating class. He received his MA in English Literature from the University of Illinois where he was a Woodrow Wilson Scholar and a PhD in Renaissance and Medieval Studies at Harvard University. He was an author of many books and articles and taught at Southern Methodist University, VMI and the Citadel and later was awarded the Palmetto Medal Award.
