Athletic Training – Martinsburg, WV
I chose West Liberty because it was in state and far enough away from home. It was affordable and had smaller class sizes for more efficient learning. I enjoy the closeness that everybody shares here. Some of the things that I am involved with on campus are Alpha & Omega Men’s Bible Study, Soccer Club and Athletic Training Club.
Finance and Accounting – Chester, WV
My favorite thing about West Liberty is the small campus atmosphere. You know all of your professors but you still have plenty of the same opportunities that you would find at a larger school. In addition to being a student ambassador, I serve as the President of the Student Government Association.
Health Care Management – Salem, WV
I chose WLU because the environment was so welcoming and as though you are part of a family. When I took a tour, my ambassador was so nice, and the school had everything I was looking for! I am the host of “What’s Up? West Lib,” our social media video series.

Elementary Education – Charleston, WV
I picked West Lib because it was very affordable, safe, and the professors were so welcoming and involved. It’s size also had a big hand in it because you get to know everyone and everyone gets to know you. I am involved with Kappa Phi, Psychology Club, Kappa Delta Pi honor society and an academic tutor.
Human Biology – Bradley, WV
I chose West Liberty because it had the “small school” feel; it is honestly my home away from home and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. Plus, it had two of the most important aspects that I was looking for – soccer and a physician assistant program. In addition to being on the women’s soccer team, I am also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Broadcasting – Shenandoah Junction, WV
I chose WLU because I knew as soon as I walked on campus, I felt at home. Now I get home sick being at my actual home. My favorite thing about West Liberty is that it’s a small campus, but you feel like you are a part of it in a big way. I am part of the production crew for WLUTV-14.
