Tate Blanchard

Tate is a life-long Ohio Valley native
and 2007 graduate from Bridgeport High School and a 2014 West Liberty University graduate. During his time at WLU Tate was a member of the student television crew where he worked in a variety of positions.

His favorite part of working on the WLUTV 14 crew was all of the  fun he had with all the members of the crew he worked with and all of the invaluable lessons he learned about the television field.

Tate believes WLUTV 14 offers their students state-of-the-art, hands on experience that helps students to feel confident to enter the workforce prepared and competent to handle a multitude of tasks.

Upon graduation, Tate was hired as a news anchor and reporter at WTRF 7 News. Prior to working at WTRF and graduating, Tate worked for two years at another television station as a full-time bureau videographer.

In his free time, Tate enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He has always had a passion for news and performing arts; dancing in particular.
