Brandon Collins

Brandon Collins- Brandon “Tuna” Collins (b. 1995) has lived all over the Mid-Ohio Valley, but spent most of his life growing up in Middlebourne, West Virginia. He attended Tyler Consolidated High School and was incredibly active in the music program. Brandon is a multi-faceted musician as he has held the role of percussionist, bassist, vocalist, instructor, copyist, arranger, composer, and many more. His favorite music stems from heavy metal, punk rock, and alternative genres. Bands such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Lamb of God, Bad Religion, Pennywise, and Bowling for Soup are some of his personal favorite artists. His interest in the “outside world” are far and few between, but they include professional wrestling, old video games, and most things that make the general public uncomfortable or offended. In the radio realm, Brandon most enjoys both discovering new music and rediscovering music that hasn’t been experienced for awhile. Another part of radio that peaks his interest is the idea of bringing honest journalism to the world; presenting actual information rather than a bastardized point of view. After graduating from West Liberty University, Brandon plans to obtain a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance in Nashville, Tennessee; Austin, Texas; or Manhattan, Kansas, in order to gain more performance opportunities and exposure to cultures that don’t exactly run rampant in the Ohio Valley. This is all part of a bigger plan to conquer the world. Please stay tuned.
