Blast from the Past 2018

On August 30, WGLZ participated in Blast from the Past 2018. Sponsored by the Office of Housing and Student Life, Counseling Services, and the Learning and Student Development Center, students created tye-dyed shirts, made s’mores, and played bingo while listening to the great jams of WGLZ. The event was very successful and students had a safe and fun night to go with it.

Vinylthon

On April 25, WGLZ participated in Vinylthon. Students played some of their favorite albums and took part along with hundreds of other stations across the nation in the yearly tradition. WGLZ plans to play vinyl for 24 consecutive hours for Vinylthon 2019.

 

 

Health Fair 2018

On April 5th, WGLZ participated in the annual Health Fair. WGLZ played music for the event, interviewed several of the participants, and gave away several prizes. Congratulations to all of our winners.

New Grateful Dead Programming

WGLZ will be airing a new specialty program through the month of April. Every Thursday night at 8:00, WGLZ will air the program Dead Air. Hosted by Cory Daniels, Dead Air is a nationally syndicated program highlighting the music of The Grateful Dead. Be sure to tune in each Thursday night for all those classic jams!
