Our mission is: To provide students with an environment that enables them to acquire the knowledge, skills, competencies, ethics, and values necessary to make a positive contribution to society and the business profession and to grow both professionally and personally. The accomplishment of this mission is evidenced by the career successes of our graduates in technical, professional, managerial and executive positions in all types of organizations throughout the nation. Indeed, in a recent survey, our graduates expressed satisfaction not only with the progression of their careers, but also with the career preparation they received at West Liberty University.
The globe background in our logo is symbolic of the global economy that WLU business graduates will be entering upon graduation, and our slogan “We’re focused on your future” articulates our commitment to help students find their direction in order to live their dreams. Students entering today’s challenging job market need business knowledge as well as professional skills for employment, and we are focused on providing both.
