Dr. Joseph Scarpaci Receives Editing Appointment, Presents at Educational Travel Conference

Dr. Joseph L. Scarpaci, Ph. D.

The Library of Congress has reappointed Dr. Joseph L. Scarpaci, Associate Professor of Marketing and Chair of the Department of Marketing + Management, as a regional editor for Volume 69 of the Handbook of Latin American Studies. This marks Scarpaci’s third re-appointment.  He also completed a review for McGraw Hill’s forthcoming edition of Marketing, authored by Levy and Grewal of Babson College. The new edition of this widely used undergraduate marketing text is due out next summer.

In addition, Dr. Scarpaci was the featured presenter at the 27th Annual Educational Travel Conference of the Educational Travel Community in Orlando, January 25-26, 2013.  His topics included “Tour Leadership:  Contributing to the Value Proposition,” “Cuba: To Do or Not to Do?” and the plenary address “Cuba Today: Close to the Edge, but Compared to What?”
