West Virginia Business Plan Competition Open to All WLU Students

Expert help to launch a new business idea and $10,000 cash…what more could a student ask for?  If a great business idea has been incubating in your head, the West Virginia Business Plan competition could be your ticket to success.  Open to any and all West Virginia college students, the competition involves submitting a business idea, and if selected, presenting an elevator pitch, and ultimately a complete business plan.  The winning entrepreneur is announced in April, 2013.

Competitors can work in teams or alone.  Students must submit their business idea by September 28, 2012 to be entered into the contest, after which they will be teamed with a business coach to assist throughout the rest of the process.

Professor Carrie White, Director of the WLU Center for Entrepreneurship at the Gary E. West College of Business, is the WLU campus contact person.  Contact Professor White at 304-336-8159 or [email protected].  Full details on the competition can be found at www.be.wvu.edu/pbc.
