The Office of University Planning shall provide administrative and operational support and assistance for the University’s annual and long-term planning efforts as well as providing leadership, vision, and direction for activities related to institutional planning within the context of best practices and emerging trends.
Planning will help create an increased awareness across campus of the value and importance of our stakeholders, programs, facilities, and landscapes. It is important to value our rich history while embracing change in new technologies, new learning styles, new curricula, and other opportunities that lie ahead. Moreover, a well-executed plan will provide a forum for campus-wide participation and engagement in the overall strategic planning process. The process will also assist with accreditation, assessment, and resource allocation.
We shall continue the stewardship of our campus so that future generations may treasure this special place as we do now and as those generations did that preceded us.
