Nutting Gallery showcases tree-themed faculty artwork

The annual faculty exhibition opened on Jan. 17 in the Nutting Gallery. Robert Villamagna, the gallery’s director, came up with the idea of having an annual art faculty exhibition. Every year, he picks the theme from all the art faculty members’ votes. This year’s theme is “Tree.” 

Photography club hopes to focus on campus life

Clubs and organizations help keep our minds busy and give us a much-needed break from worrying about our class studies. This year, for the Photography Club, they are just trying to get their club off the ground.

Excitement builds for MADfest 2017

The West Liberty University community is ready to welcome over 350 high school students for the 17th annual MADfest this Friday, April 7.
 
Competition entries were submitted up until March 11, and MADfest director and West Liberty Professor Jim Haizlett is pleased with the number of submissions. 

Trumpet photo contest winners announced

Up until March 20, The Trumpet staff has been collecting submissions for its campus-wide photo contest during the spring semester. With more than 100 entries, the judges have deemed the contest a success.
