Finals weeks can be very stressful for students if they do not know how to approach it in a sane way. Everyone is focused on studying for exams and finishing projects, but unlike what one might think, studying non-stop is not the most productive way to prepare. Here are some tips on how to stay sane during finals, to make the best out of it.

Top sports to enjoy during summer

As we start to get into summer, the NBA Finals is wrapping up while the Stanley Cup Finals finished last night. With football still being a few months away, you have a huge gap in what sports to watch. The obvious choice is baseball since it is on early everyday, but here are some other options that you might not think of.

It’s easy to become stressed out during the last part of any semester. Although a part of me is longing for summer break, another part of me is not looking forward to it just yet because of how much work I have left before I get there. I’m sure I’m not the only one, too. 

WLU basketball hits the road for MEC tournament

This last weekend saw the regular seasons of West Liberty’s men’s and women’s basketball teams end in a heartbreak to rivals Wheeling Jesuit. One was at the hands of a buzzer-beating layup, and the other was a triple-overtime thriller at the free-throw line.
 
While this certainly isn’t the way the Toppers wanted to see their regular season end, the season is far from over for either of them as they both move on to post-season play in the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Tournament and beyond.
