Women’s tennis finishes third at conference tournament

West Liberty University’s women’s tennis team ended their season this past weekend after falling short to University of Charleston in the Mountain East Conference Tournament. This year, the tournament was held at the Marshall University Tennis Complex in Huntington, W.Va.

Shotwell possesses this year’s Haunted Halls

With Halloween approaching quickly, one of the most awaited events is coming back to the hilltop. 
 
This year, Haunted Halls is going to be held in the oldest building on campus, Shotwell Hall. The event will take place on Monday, Oct. 30 and Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Nursing students recognized with white coat ceremony

On Sept. 21, West Liberty’s nursing program held the annual white coat ceremony marking the third-year and BA-BS to BSN students’ transition into the professional field. 
 
This year, 25 junior nursing students donned their white coats as well as 10 students in the initial BA-BS to BSN program. 

West Liberty women’s tennis season off to a hot start

West Liberty University’s women’s tennis have kicked off their season strong. The team had previously won 8-1 and 9-0 against Grove City College and Shepherds University respectively, and swept their third consecutive match after defeating Notre Dame College this past Saturday at the Edgar Martin Tennis Complex.

Personal training program succeeds on the hilltop

West Liberty University’s personal training program is back in action after a successful first year. The program was introduced last fall semester and it instantly became popular among students. Personal training offers students a chance to have someone to workout with who can guide them through the correct exercise process.
