West Liberty Alumni Presents Opportunity for success into Professional Schools

WLU alumni, James Birch is offering free advice to students looking to enter professional schools.

Juniors and seniors with an interest in careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or occupational and physical therapy are invited to join Birch in the alumni room on Thursday, January 28th, from 3-5 p.m. There, Birch, the new Program Specialist for the WVU Health Careers Opportunity Program, will be offering tips on passing MCAT, PCAT, DAT, or GRE exams.

Students can also apply for the West Virginia University Health Careers Opportunity Program. If accepted, “the program offers a 6 week Kaplan Prep course, and an additional two weeks of on-campus instruction receiving mock-interview practice, personal statement development, shadowing experience, and so much more,” Birch said.
