Open House at the Highlands Center

By Jessica Broverman, Editor

West Liberty will be holding an open house at the Highlands Center this upcoming Thursday, Oct. 2, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The Highlands Center is asking that those who are interested in attending this event to please register ahead of time. This event is open to all who are interested and is free of charge to the public.

Information that will be available at the open house will regard possible college credit for work or life experience, evaluations, undergraduate and graduate programs as well as courses that will be available to future students. “Adults will find a number of convenient, quality programs that allow them to reach their educational and professional goals,” said Dean Thomas Michaud, who directs the School of Professional Studies.

“This is a great chance for curious adults and prospective students to explore the educational options available at our Highlands Center,” said Michaud. The Highlands Center offers a large number of undergraduate degrees and two master programs. The Master of Professional Studies degree is new to West Liberty and is currently offered at the Highlands Center.

Many of the classes are scheduled to work well with students who work full time and have families. Evening classes and weekend classes are the primary class days and hours.

For more information or to register, please visit westliberty.edu/highlands or call 304-217-2800. The Highlands Center is located along Cabela Drive in the Highlands shopping complex on the far right, near the AT&T building.
