
Dr. Anthony A. Koyzis
PROVOST
Dr. Anthony Koyzis (pro: KOYzis) has been named the new Provost. He replaces the retiring Dr. John McCullough.
Koyzis comes to WLU from Longwood University (Va.) where he was the founding Dean of the school’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Iowa. His areas of leadership include faculty development, online and off-campus programs, and international student and faculty exchanges.

Dr. Melinda S. Kreisberg
ASSISTANT PROVOST
Melinda S. Kreisberg is originally from Ohio where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Mount Union College. She holds a doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Kreisberg holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Biology program at West Liberty University. She has been a faculty member at WLU for 9 years. During the past 9 years, she also coordinated the Microbiology Track within the Biology program and coordinated all departmental and biology assessment until her appointment to Assistant Provost.
