Welcome to the Office of the Provost/Assistant Provost. The Provost serves as the Chief Academic Officer of the University and is intricately involved in University planning and decision-making and reports directly to the President.  Numerous department administrators directly report of this office, and they include: Assistant Provost, Dean of Students/Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Director of Institutional Research and Assessment, Chief Information Officer, and the College Deans.

New Provost 2011

Dr. Anthony Koyzis (pro: KOYzis) has been named the new Provost. He replaces the retiring Dr. John McCullough.

Koyzis comes to WLU from Longwood University (Va.) where he was the founding Dean of the school’s College of Graduate and Professional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Iowa.
