Access Programs and Services
For more than 170 years West Liberty University has been synonymous with providing a little something extra for all of our students — in short — we care.  We provide guidance through what can be an overwhelming process and are there with a number of programs to get one started and to help with staying on the right path.

Here are just a few of the many programs and services we offer:

The Hilltopper Academy

Hilltopper Academy is a residential, summer bridge program that offers students the opportunity to earn three college credit hours and is designed to strengthen basic “college-readiness” skills. Students receive intense instruction in College Math Boot-Camp 101 and Writing for College Boot-Camp 101. In addition to these core academic sessions, students cultivate necessary college success skills through Student Success Strategies sessions. These sessions acquaint students with college culture and empower them with information about “habits of mind” they must develop to ensure their academic and personal success.
