West Liberty University held its Fall Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, December 11, 2010, in the Academic Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC).
Graduates, guests and families filled the ASRC on Saturday morning. Mr. Randolph Worls, CEO of the Oglebay Foundation, delivered the Commencement address. He encouraged students to stay involved with WLU even after graduation. He commented to keep in touch with coaches, faculty and be apart of the Alumni Association at WLU.
According to Registrar Scott Cook, 167 students complete graduation requirements during the fall semester and participated in the ceremony. Ashley Felton, from Weirton, W. Va., was the graduating student speaker.
A reception for the graduates and their guests was held immediately following the ceremony in the Student Union.
