Why Liberal Arts?

Earning a Liberal Arts Degree: The Right Choice in a Changing World

The results of a recent survey conducted by the Association of American Colleges and Universities show that potential employers value the education that liberal arts majors receive:

93 percent of respondents reported a demonstrated capacity to think critically, communicate clearly, and solve complex problems is more important than a candidate’s undergraduate major.
9 out of 10
More than 9 in 10 stressed the importance of hiring people with ethical judgment and integrity, intercultural skills, and the capacity for continued new learning.
Over 75%

More than 75% of employers want more colleges to emphasize five key areas: critical thinking, complex problem solving, written and oral communication skills, and applied knowledge in real-world settings.

Again, welcome to the College of Liberal Arts, “Your Doorway to the World.”
