TEACHER EDUCATION ASSISTANCE FOR COLLEGE AND HIGHER EDUCATION GRANT PROGRAM (TEACH Grant)
A federal grant for undergraduate or graduate students completing course work to become a teacher of mathematics, science, or special education. The student must agree to serve full-time in a designated low-income school for four years, after completion of the academic program for which the TEACH Grant was received. If you do not complete the required teaching service obligation, TEACH Grant funds you received will be converted to a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan that you must repay, with interest charged from the date of each TEACH Grant disbursement.
