The Professional Education Department at West Liberty University offers two graduate level courses in autism as part of an intensive summer endorsement program.  These two courses, when combined with an existing certification in behavior disorders or multi-categorical special education, will result in an endorsement in autism.  Appropriately licensed persons successfully completing the two courses in autism will be recommended for endorsement by their county system.

The field component will be completed in the Brooke County Summer School program or Marshall County Summer School program during class hours.

Only graduate students who are enrolled in the masters program at West Liberty University can register these two courses.  If you are interested in taking these courses, please complete and submit the Graduate Application (apply as a non-degree/special student) unless you are already enrolled as a graduate student at WLU. Once you receive your acceptance letter, register for the courses on-line. Once registered, you will be billed for the courses.
