The Distance Education Support Center is located in Main Hall, Room 172. The Office of E-Learning is generally open between 8am and 4pm on Monday – Friday.
Additionally, support is available through email by sending a detailed message to firstname.lastname@example.org or by leaving a voice message at 304. 336.8432. Support through email, though not instanteous, may be available outside of the traditional work hours and days.
Normally, all requests for support receive responses in less than 24 hours. Occasionally, a request may require 48 hours if outside the normal work week.
The Online Learning Specialist is available to help students access their Sakai accounts, navigate within Sakai, and troubleshoot basic functional issues. A Sakai Quick Start User Guide is available for download (.pdf format).
Assistance for faculty with course development and the use of Sakai to support traditional face-to-face classes is available from the Online Learning Specialist. Phone requests for troubleshoot as well as scheduled sessions are available.
