Documentary Film Major


The Documentary Film major is a practical experience and immersion program that involves hands-on participation in the making of a documentary film or TV project — taking a concept from start-to-finish, with insight into the creative, technical, and business aspects of the process. Documentary Film Program Requirements
Documentary Film Program Requirements
1. Documentary Film majors must complete a minor of at least 18 hours.
2. The minor can not be in a Communications related field.
3. All students must meet COM requirements of an overall GPA of 2.5 and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 to take upper level courses.
4. A minimum of 40 upper-level courses must successfully be completed.
5.MINOR and NON-COMMUNICATIONS CLASSES TO TOTAL 120

Entrance into the Documentary Film program is contingent on passing the Communications Sophomore review. West Liberty University’s new concentration in Documentary Film will officially be available for the 2012–2013 academic year.
