WGLZ is hiring!
WGLZ is looking to fill three positions for the 2010-2011 academic year. To be eligible for employment, you must be a full time West Liberty student and have taken a radio production class. Applications are available starting Monday, March 22, outside the radio production room on the 2nd floor of the college union.
Station Manager-Oversees the day to day operations of WGLZ. The Station Manager works with all the other departments to get projects finished as well as scheduling for events and board operations. Employees must work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Production/Music Manager- In charge of adding music, PSAs, promos, station ID’s, etc. to the computer system, contacting record labels, and scheduling music for our day to day operations. Music Director is also responsible for board operating duties. Employees must work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Public Relations/Promotions Director- Assists students with creating elements to be played on air. Produces spots highlighting events on campus as well as being in charge of keeping the production room in working order. These managers will also work on the promotion/public relations for the station as well as board operations. Employees must work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
