MAKESHOP

An exciting opportunity for students, ages 18-22. Please read the information below carefully.

MAKESHOP at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh is partnering with the Maker Education Initiative, a program linked to MAKE Magazine, to launch the Maker Corps program this spring. This program will address the need for personalized support and expertise in introducing maker-oriented experiences in educational programs across the country.

They are recruiting potential Maker Corps members that will serve as MAKESHOP facilitators and mentors for their visitors and youth programs. Maker Corps members will be employed by Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh for the summer of 2013 to engage children and families in creative projects, while gaining experience serving as a community leader and museum professional.
