This workshop will allow teachers to identify different models of co-teaching instruction, identify roles of co-teachers in the classroom, review examples of effective co-taught lessons, and use a template for supporting common planning in the classroom (1 or 2 hours)

“Using Universal Design for Learners to Meet All Student Needs”
This workshop will provide participants the guiding principles and tools needed to support students with disabilities, English language learners, gifted students, struggling students, and varied learning needs of students in the general population in inclusive classrooms. (2 or 3 hours)

Traci is a former special education teacher; she received her Masters degree from Vanderbilt University where she worked with the Fuchs on RTI research.
“Fidgets: Sensory Integration in the General Education Classroom”
This workshop will focus on low-cost easily, accessible and developmentally appropriate “fidgets” to address sensory integration dysfunction in the classroom. Special emphasis will be given to students on the Autism Spectrum and students with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (AD/HD). (1 or 2 hours)
