Biography

Carrie is an Associate Professor in the Exercise Physiology Department at West Liberty University. She has 32 years of physical therapy practice experience. She spent 24 years teaching in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program before joining WLU in August 2024. She has earned a BS in physical therapy (WVU 1994), an MPH in Public Health (WVU 2004) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (Temple Univ 2009). She has volunteered for the state physical therapy association since 2001 serving on the Ethics Committee and has been elected to serve in the offices of Secretary, Vice president, President-elect and served two terms (4 years) as President. She currently serves this organization is its Bylaw Committee chair. She serves her local community by sitting on the Ohio County Family Resource Network Board of Directors and the Wheeling Health Right Board of Directors. Carrie is an independent contractor for prn PT services.
