  • Wed, Jan 18 – Feb 10: Faculty Art Showcase in the Nutting Gallery. “Toys” is the theme. Join us at 5:30pm for the “Meet the Artists” reception in the gallery.
  • Mon, Jan 23: Electronic Music Concert in College Hall, 7pm. Featuring original electronic music by WLU students.
  • Sat, Jan 28: Region VI WVMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival.
  • Fri, Feb 10: The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra presents “Video Games Live”.  Note: The WSO is not directly affiliated with West Liberty, but we like to promote live music in Wheeling.
  • Wed, Feb 15 – Mar 10: Painting and Sculpture exhibition in the Nutting Gallery. Painter Ed Bisese of College Park, MD, and sculpture by Ryder Henry of Pittsburgh. Bisese had an exhibition of his figurative paintings
    at WLU four years ago. This will be Ryder Henry’s first time showing in the Nutting Gallery. Join us at 5:30pm for the “Meet the Artists” reception in the Gallery. Note: This was previously listed as “Flash! Tattoo Exhibition” but has been changed.
  • Feb 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, and 26*: “Hope and Gravity” presented by the WLU Hilltop Players. 7:30pm in Kelly Theater (*Sunday matinee at 3pm). $. For ticket information, visit the Hilltop Players website or Facebook page.

  • Feb 23 and 24: Hilltop Opera presents “Die Fledermaus” (“The Bat”) by Johann Strauss. 7:30pm in College Hall.

  • Feb 25: Ryan Wolf Senior Recital. Trumpet. 7:30pm in College Hall.
  • Feb 28: WLU Wind Ensemble concert. 7:30pm in College Hall.

  • Thur, April 6: Mark Snyder and Friends in Concert. Electronic Music and Video Artist Mark Snyder presents his original work at 7:30pm in College Hall. Mark is one of the Guest Jurors for MAD Fest.
  • Fri, April 7: MAD Fest. The annual Media Arts and Design Festival is a showcase and celebration of digital art, media, and music.
