AIGA Field Trip to Commonwealth Press
18 members of West Liberty’s AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) student group recently took a tour of Commonwealth Press in Pittsburgh’s South Side. Dan Rugh, proprietor, gave a spellbinding tour of his screen printing business. The company prides itself in making high quality custom screen prints for shirts, signs, and anything else that ink adheres to, except, apparently, wine corks.
Here are some great photos by Amanda Swann, providing a nice archive of the day’s activities, which concluded with the printing of our very own AIGA t-shirts with that brash Chris Lovell design.
